Facebook’s COO, Sheryl Sandberg, is the highest-ranking tech woman on the list at No. 10, even though Forbes took her down five places, in part due to the firm’s disappointing public debut and falling stock price. “Tech has been a male-dominated industry, and women are playing a much more dominant role,” said Forbes’ list editor, Moira Forbes. “And many of those women are in turnaround situations.”
