| Subject: Queens 12-year-old finishes third in Nat'l Spelling Bee ... again Fri Jun 01, 2012 7:35 am | |
| Arvind Mahankali, 12, of Queens, reacts after spelling a word incorrectly and being eliminated during the finals of the National Spelling Bee Thursday. OXON HILL, Md. — Snigdha Nandipati heard a few words she didn't know during the National Spelling Bee, but never when she stepped to the microphone. Calm and collected throughout, the 14-year-old from San Diego spelled "guetapens," a French-derived word that means ambush, snare or trap, to win the 85th Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday night. She beat out eight other finalists in the nerve-wracking, brain-busting competition. http://www.mmoxo.com/product/Aion.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/Tera.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/12sky2.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/4Story.htmlhttp://www.runescapegoods.com | |
