| NBC “New York Live” correspondent Raina Seitel could have a second career as an investigator after tracking down her stolen iPhone last week. Seitel attended a birthday party last Thursday at the Gansevoort Park Hotel, and left her phone there. When she went back, someone had snatched the device. Seitel was able to track it to 74th Street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, through Apple’s “Find My iPhone” feature, and went back to the Gansevoort to scour the security cameras. She met up with former NYPD detective Sal Sully, who heads up security for the hotel, and the two trekked out to Bay Ridge to knock on doors. “I felt like I was on ‘Law & Order,’ ” Seitel told us afterward. Sully said, “She was going door-to-door like a regular detective.” They tracked down the iPhone (with a pink, sparkly case) in the glove compartment of a parked SUV. The owners explained their nephew had taken the car out the night before. “I’m not going to press charges,” Seitel told us, and called Sully “my hero.” A hotel rep declined to comment. http://www.mmoxo.com/product/Aion.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/Tera.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/12sky2.htmlhttp://www.mmoxo.com/product/4Story.htmlhttp://www.runescapegoods.com | |
