The scene today where a woman was shot by police in Brooklyn. Cops shot a woman dead after a dramatic car chase that ended in a crash on a busy Brooklyn intersection, witnesses and law enforcement source said. The woman, identified only as in her 30s, was shot by narcotics cops once in the chest after her Toyota collided with a minivan on the corner of East 38th Street and Church Avenue in East Flatbush. Sources said she ran several lights with police in hot pursuit before smashing into the other vehicle around 5:40 p.m.
