Just imagine if he had lost the race. After winning the 3,000 meter staple chase at the European championships in Helsinki, Finland, French runner Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad knocks something out of the mascots hand and pushes it. What’s worse is that was later found out that inside the mascot’s outfit was a 14-year-old girl. It’s not the first time Mekhissi-Benabbad has become a YouTube sensation for all the wrong reasons. Last year, as you can see in the second video, the 27-year old got into a fight with countryman Medhi Baala at an event that was caught on tape.
