“I try not to let any of my various and sundry ailments interfere too much,” he says. “It was exactly a year ago that I tore my Achilles [while chasing a woman who’d broken into his hotel room], and that still hurts, but there was one concession that was made for me. “I now sit while I do the show,” he says, “which is kind of good, because my left leg is also not in good shape since I blew out my ACL and there’s no cartilage left and it’s a potential knee replacement.”
