“Next year, we’re opening up Pier 2,” says Regina Myer, president of Brooklyn Bridge Park. “That will include basketball, handball, exercise space, shuffleboard, bocce ball, a new lawn and in-line skating. By the end of next year, we’ll be 60 percent finished with the park.” And the surrounding real estate has gone along for the ride.
